Sales Manager
Job title: Senior Sales Manager
Reports directly to: Director of Sales
Overall Job Purpose
- The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities.
- Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.
- Lead all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
- Achieves personal sales goals and, together with the DOS, executes overall sales strategy of the hotel.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Fluent in Italian, English, and French
- Strong understanding of MICE, government, and leisure environments

Candidate profile
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3-year experience in a similar role in a comparable property with sizeable rooms and meeting spaces.
Preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work on behalf of guests
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Strong commercial understanding including sales, marketing, e-commerce
- Successful track record in a collaborative/matrixed environment
- Ability to evaluate and identify business opportunities

Managing Sales Activities
- Achieving room and catering sales objectives
- Maintaining contact with the market and customer base
- Soliciting new and existing accounts to meet revenue goals
- Participating in trade shows, industry events, and meetings
- Developing relationships within the community to expand sales opportunities
Providing Exceptional Customer Service
- Supporting the company's service and relationship strategy
- Delivering service excellence and obtaining customer feedback
