What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a person who wants to undertake a professional path starting from the role of Warehousing Manager. The role is in the Supply Chain Department and the main purpose is the coordination of activities with Logistic Managers in plant, ensuring process optimization, KPIs monitoring and continuous improvement. He/She will also work on the Warehousing roadmap with technical project managers (specific focus on automation) and will be the first focal point of contact with Procurement and Hub Head of Warehousing.
Your Activities Will Include
- Strategically support management of the warehouses, in compliance with company’s policies and vision, with a special emphasis on digitalisation and automation roadmap.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, outbound distribution, manufacturing replenishment and maintenance operations.
- Support and coordinate setup and layout ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure and monitor workplace health and safety requirements are met.
- Manage budgets and maintain statistics and reporting.
- Optimise the overall supply chain performance by promoting process improvements that maximise productivity and reduce costs, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
Who We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Almost 8 years of experience, with almost 5 years in the Logistic Department.
- Excellent expertise in warehouse management procedures, best practices and strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
- Very good hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management System and databases, inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Capacity to work in cross‑functional teams and manage complex situations.
- Strong determination and results‑driven attitude.
