A consultancy firm is seeking a Training and Capacity Building Expert – Fiscal Policy to develop and deliver targeted training sessions. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in training design and delivery related to public finance. Responsibilities include preparing training content and evaluating learning outcomes. This role offers a short- to medium-term engagement in Italy, focusing on EU budgets and fiscal frameworks.

About the Opportunity :

We are creating a pool of Training and Capacity Building Experts – Fiscal Policy for a new FWC Contract :

EC-SG REFORM / 2025 / OP / 0001 :

Provision of consultancy services to support the design, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of structural reforms in EU Member State. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. If you have relevant experience we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop a training map and deliver two tailored training sessions (15 participants each).
• Prepare training content on fiscal risk management, sustainability, and EU recommendations.
• Coordinate with national counterparts to ensure practical applicability of sessions.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and contribute to final reporting.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training design and delivery in public finance or fiscal policy.
• Strong understanding of EU budgetary procedures and fiscal frameworks.
• Previous delivery of trainings in institutional or governmental settings.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
