Job Summary:

The Radiologist is responsible for interpreting medical images to diagnose and guide treatment for a variety of conditions. This position supports clinical decision‑making by providing timely, accurate, and comprehensive radiology reports. The role plays a critical part in improving patient outcomes and maintaining high standards of diagnostic excellence within the organization.

Job Duties:
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Ultrasounds, and other modalities.
  • Provide clear and concise reports with timely turnaround to referring physicians.
  • Communicate urgent or critical findings to the appropriate clinical teams immediately.
  • Collaborate with technologists to ensure optimal image quality and protocol adherence.
  • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on current imaging guidelines and best practices.
  • Utilize state‑of‑the‑art radiology software and tools for efficient workflow.
  • Support a culture of safety, compliance, and patient‑centered care.
  • Document findings accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Attend department meetings and contribute to case discussions and clinical education when applicable
Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship training (preferred but not required, depending on sub‑specialty).
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state(s).
