As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem‑solving is essential as you collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and write system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’ll identify and mitigate risks, ensuring our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support system engineering projects that involve electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithmic, and software design, and understand the underlying system implications. Contribute to the system engineering specification within the field of expertise.
  • Assist in creating the system engineering specification and write the portion pertaining to the field of technical expertise.
  • Perform and coordinate tests, and provide feedback to product engineering, physics, algorithms and software teams on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot moderately difficult engineering problems in the field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
  • Support system integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
  • Ensure all new designs of hardware and software meet market requirement specifications and are reliable, safe, user‑friendly and maintainable by the field.
  • Assist in defining all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas and ensure they are up to date and documented.
  • Learn and begin contributing to the systems architecture development process.
