A leading insurance company is looking for a candidate in Trieste to join their Street Pricing Motor Unit. The ideal applicant will have data engineering experience, particularly in the insurance sector, and be proficient in SQL and Python. Responsibilities include data preparation, performance monitoring, and reporting within a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are essential. Knowledge of English and Italian is required.

Competenze

• Experience as Data Engineer / Scientist or IT Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Insurance, preferably in Motor Insurance.
• Proficiency in Data Lakes, SQL, and Python environments.

Overview

The candidate will be introduced in the Street Pricing Motor Unit and will be involved in the following activities :

Responsibilities

• Data preparation and maintenance of its infrastructure
• Motor Area Performance monitoring
• Development and updating of unit reports
• Data preparation development

Technical skills

• Experience as Data Engineer / Scientist, IT Analyst or similar
• Previous experience for 5 years in Insurance field (in Motor Insurance field is preferred)
• Good knowledge of Data Lakes, SQL, Python and its development environments (ex Jupiter, etc)
• Experience working with cloud environments
• Good knowledge of English and Italian language (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Office Suite, in particular Excel and Power Point
• Data analytics and data reporting

Soft skills

• Solid problem-solving and result-oriented attitude
• Proactive and innovative attitude in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
• Proven independency in accomplishing tasks working both individually and in team
• Able to manage tight deadlines
