We are looking for a Strategic Planner to join our office in Milan.

The Strategic Planner will be an essential resource within the Integrated Planning office whose mission is to support end-to-end Business Operations by leveraging and developing medium- to long-term planning with a strategic perspective.

As a Strategic Planner Manager you will play a key role in leading medium- to long-term planning initiatives ensuring a clear strategic direction and robust planning across the entire business unit. You will work closely with the Operations Planner Managerwho focuses on project execution and people developmentto ensure comprehensive and aligned planning. Your responsibilities will primarily include developing and implementing strategic plans with a particular emphasis on the tender phase and long-term portfolio management.

Tender Management & Alignment :

Support the Tender phase by thoroughly analyzing requirements developing comprehensive Tender plans and ensuring the alignment of the tenders portfolio with key assets and new investments.

Conduct robust risk assessments during the Tender phase to ensure optimal asset / resource allocation and utilization across tenders and projects.

Act as a key stakeholder in Tender Portfolio Reviews and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Lead the handover process from Tender to Execution once a tender is awarded clearly communicating key project plan assumptions asset allocations and identified suppliers.

Strategic Planning & Monitoring :

Monitor and update tenders / projects based on the Notice to Proceed (NTP) ensuring consistent asset and supplier allocation until the NTP is formally released.

Develop and continuously monitor the 5-year strategic plan implementing proactive strategies to address any variances.

Develop and conduct regular realignment of tender and project portfolios to optimize asset and resource allocation.

You are the right fit if you have / are :

Degree in Engineering Business Management or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) industry or a project-based business.

Demonstrated experience in Planning Tender / Project Management or a similar role within functions such as manufacturing installation portfolio management or Capex.

Must have prior experience managing or leading a team.

Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera Tilos and MS Project is mandatory.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Power Apps.

Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI or Qlik is a plus.

Fluent in English proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Project Management certifications (e.g. PMI IPMA) are a strong plus.
