A leading European deep-tech company is seeking an experienced SRE / Network Engineer to support its decentralized cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have expert-level skills in Linux and MAAS automation, with responsibilities including infrastructure maintenance, scalable network design, and deployment of virtualization systems. Competenze

• Expert-level Linux administration experience, preferably Debian / Ubuntu.
• Strong expertise in MAAS / Ironic and bare-metal automation.
• Excellent knowledge of networking fundamentals including VLANs and routing.

Mansioni

• Maintain and support core infrastructure systems with Linux knowledge.
• Design and maintain scalable networks using VLANs and VPNs.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and scripting.
• Set up observability stacks for metrics and log centralization.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization and orchestration systems.

Conoscenze

Expert-level Linux administration

Strong MAAS / Ironic / bare-metal automation experience

Excellent networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, VPNs

Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)

Scripting (Bash / Python)

GitOps

Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Graylog)

Custom deployment automation (PXE, Preseed, MAAS / Ironic)

Resource tracking and API integrations

Experience with OpenStack, Proxmox, VMware
