A leading IT consulting firm is seeking a DBA & System Engineer to manage their entire IT Infrastructure and Database setup. This role involves managing SQL Server and MySQL databases, contributing to IT strategy, and ensuring the security of information systems. Fluency in both English and Italian is required, along with extensive experience in database management. The position offers a hybrid work model based in Milano or Roma.

⚡ Then what

We are in search of a DBA & System Engineer to manage, evolve, and monetize an entire Group IT Infrastructure and Database setup. Hybrid in Milano or Roma.

👉🏼 Responsibilities

Database & System Management :

• Manage and troubleshoot the enterprise Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, MySQL Server infrastructure, along with other DBMS like Oracle and MongoDB.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows / Linux Server environments.
• Perform comprehensive database management tasks : tuning, troubleshooting, performance analysis, security configuration, and DDL / DML operations.
• Manage database backup, restore, import / export operations, and utilize MS SQL Server Reporting / Integration / Analysis Services, and Power BI.

Strategy & Evolution :

• Actively contribute to the global IT Strategy, focusing on technical architecture and application solutions for defined strategic programs.

Governance & Security :

• Ensure the development, implementation, and updating of all IT policies and procedures based on Group policies.
