Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineering will provide technical skills for the Housing business unit, develop/industrialize routing sheets for new products and legacy routing sheets, follow all the activities linked with the P&E, and plan/monitor processes to contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Support concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers and/or with the customer
  • Define tooling/router design effort between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing Engineering
  • Drive suppliers of tooling during all steps from the concept to the functional test and related validation
  • Manage design and process reviews, to monitor the status of industrialization/ improvement plan for the assigned P/N
  • Support operating personnel during the production of the first batch
  • Manage the technical validation according with internal procedures
  • Identify processes optimization to be implemented
  • Support Customer Quality Engineering for the anomaly report submitted to Customer and sustain Customer review of the proposed improvement plan
  • Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process
  • Develop and consolidate best practices and standards for manufacturing
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or Bachelor Degree and few years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in production/manufacturing domain
  • Knowledge of Sulphuric Acid Anodizing Treatment
  • Knowledge of Chromate Conversion Coating Treatment
  • Knowledge of Surface Treatment Technology (Equipment, Process Line, etc)
  • Knowledge of REACH regulation
  • Knowledge of Process & Masking Fixtures
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
