A prominent pharmaceutical company in Italy is looking for a Foreign Business Unit – General Ledger Accountant. This role involves overseeing accounting for international entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in English. This position offers the chance to contribute to a growing finance team while enhancing your accounting expertise.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience within an international, matrix-structured environment.
• Solid understanding of IFRS principles, internal control frameworks, and audit processes.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting operations.
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.

Mansioni

• Lead the monthly closing processes for assigned foreign entities.
• Prepare and document manual journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Perform foreign currency gain/loss analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Support the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
