Senior GenAI Solutions Architect, Startups

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) AWS SMGS is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The Startup Solutions Architecture team works with early stage startup companies to help them deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures while minimizing time and cost. We are looking for technical builders who enjoy helping startups grow, and who can become trusted advisors by making pragmatic technical decisions with customers. You will work directly with a variety of customers, build enduring relationships, and advocate for the right products and features with our product teams. You will also contribute to technical content and present at events to share knowledge with a broader audience, including customers you do not work with 1:1. You will have opportunities to sharpen your skills across more than 175 AWS services and to help startups leverage the right ones for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with early-stage startup customers to help them deploy scalable, secure architectures on AWS.
• Partner with customers to make pragmatic technical decisions and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Spend time with customers directly and, when not 1:1 with customers, share knowledge through technical content and events.
• Advocate for the right products and features with product teams to ensure offerings meet startup needs.
• Continuously sharpen skills across AWS services and help startups select the right services for their use cases.

Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics

- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures

- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing and deploying large-scale machine learning or deep learning models and/or systems into production, including batch and real-time data processing
• Experience scaling model training and inference using technologies like Slurm, ParallelCluster, Amazon SageMaker
• Hands-on experience benchmarking and optimizing performance of models on accelerated computing (GPU, TPU, AI ASICs) clusters with high-speed networking
