About The Role

We are seeking an Analogue Electronics Engineer for our facility in London, UK. You will be a key member of the R&D team that develops new technologies for applications in medical devices and radio wave communications, including biosensing, MRI enhancing, 5G communications, and scientific instruments. Your role will be to develop analogue circuits for sensor readout, as well as build and test hardware for prototyping and manufacturing new device prototypes based on discrete off the shelf components. You will be working hands-on within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. While the pandemic is ongoing, we expect the candidate to be based in or near London but can work from home 1-2 days a week on average.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, equipment, and software

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years’ experience in electronics design and testing
• Essential Technical competencies / skills: Experience in multi-layer PCB design (OrCAD, Altium, Eagle, etc.)
• Experience in analogue amplifiers and analogue to digital converters
• Experience with data acquisition systems
• Preferable Embedded C or equivalent embedded systems programming
• Experience with optical sensors
• Experience with microcontrollers
• Experience with custom DC power supply design
