A leading international pharmaceutical company based in Parma is seeking a finance professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in preparing financial statements according to Italian GAAP and IFRS. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Italian and English, has expertise in tax and asset accounting, and is experienced with Oracle and/or SAP. Collaboration with colleagues on cross-departmental projects is key. A degree in Economics or a similar field is required. This role offers the opportunity to develop accounting processes within a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• 2 to 3 years of experience in financial statement preparation in an international environment.
• Expertise in Italian GAAP and knowledge of tax accounting and asset accounting.
• High IT affinity with good knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Main activities

• Responsibility for the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Italian GAAP and internal Group requirements (IFRS) on a monthly, quarterly, and year‑end basis.
• Operational management of the general ledger and fixed assets.
• Analysis of financial statement items and commenting on changes.
• Monitor and support taxation issues.
• Further development and implementation of existing accounting processes and creation of accounting rules in line with Group requirements.
• Implementation and documentation of controls as part of the internal control system.
• Close collaboration and communication with colleagues (m/f/d) in the Gerresheimer Group, in particular with regard to accounting, taxes and controlling issues, as well as treasury and reporting.
• Collaboration in cross‑departmental projects in finance and accounting e.g. in the implementation of new systems.

Skills

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in independent preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ideally in an international Group environment.
• Expertise in financial statements in accordance with Italian GAAP, ideally knowledge of tax accounting, asset accounting, and IFRS.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Experience in Oracle and/or SAP.
• High IT affinity with good knowledge of MS 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Sharepoint.
• Proactive way of working, willingness to learn and perform as well as experience in project work.
• Team spirit and communication skills.
