Project Overview

Our client, a leading Tier 1 consultancy, is seeking an experienced Freelance SAP PS (Project Systems) Team Lead to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA rollout program based in Dubai. This is a multi-country transformation for a major enterprise, currently entering the global deployment phase.

You will play a key leadership role within the SAP Project Systems (PS) workstream, overseeing design, build, integration, and deployment activities, and working closely with both onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PS workstream within the S/4HANA rollout program.

• Define and oversee solution design, configuration, and integration across related modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PM).

• Collaborate closely with business process owners, project managers, and functional leads to ensure solution alignment with business requirements.

• Manage a team of SAP PS consultants and ensure delivery quality, milestones, and adherence to project timelines.

• Conduct workshops, prepare functional specifications, and oversee testing and deployment activities.

• Provide expert input on best practices for Project Systems within S/4HANA environments.

• Support data migration, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization phases.

• Coordinate with global template and governance teams to ensure consistency across rollouts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years in SAP PS.

• Proven experience as a Team Lead or Stream Lead on S/4HANA implementation or rollout projects.

• Strong integration knowledge with adjacent modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM).

• Experience working in large, complex, multi-country SAP programs.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English (spoken and written).

• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, distributed teams.

• Must be available for monthly travel to Dubai.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, construction, or large capital project industries.

• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.

• Prior experience working with Tier 1 consultancies or on major global programs.

Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months initially (extensions highly likely through full program lifecycle).

• Location: Remote with monthly on-site visits to Dubai (expenses covered).

• Start Date: Early January 2026.
