Responsibilities
- Play a key role in expanding sales and introducing innovative vegetable varieties to the market.
- Work closely with customers, providing technical support and product expertise.
- Be part of a dynamic, international team dedicated to sustainable and high-quality agriculture.
- Manage customer relationships, optimize sales, and support the introduction of new seed varieties.
- Manage sales for an assigned group of customers within the subsidiary, develop the market and expand sales opportunities.
- Create and execute customer plans to ensure successful implementation of sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential customers to drive brand awareness and secure profitable partnerships.
- Stay up to date on Enza Zaden’s product portfolio and provide reliable technical advice to customers to ensure the successful cultivation and adoption of new varieties.
- Identify promising experimental varieties from local screening and collaborate with the breeding teams to support variety selection.
- Support the introduction of new Enza Zaden varieties with technical guidance, clear market positioning, and trial planning, ensuring the optimal supply of trial material.
- Collect market and customer data, share insights with the market intelligence team, and monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Management, Breeding, Marketing and Customer Service, to ensure effective market execution.
- Engage externally with growers, plant raisers, dealers, and purchasing managers to promote and develop Enza Zaden's products.
What You Bring As a Future Colleague
- A higher professional education (HBO/Bachelor’s degree) in Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in sales, product development, or agronomy.
- Strong relationship management skills and a passion for developing customer partnerships.
- Knowledge of seed production, cultivation techniques, and market trends.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel as required to engage with customers and conduct field trials.
