A luxury hotel in Italy is seeking a Sales Manager for the USA & Canada to promote its exclusive properties in Southern Italy. The candidate will manage accounts, participate in events, and define sales strategies. A minimum of 3-5 years in luxury leisure sales on the American market is required, alongside excellent communication skills in Italian and English. This full-time role offers a permanent contract with opportunities for development and discounted stays at the hotel.

SALES MANAGER USA & CANADA, WEST COAST AND MIDWEST

Main purpose:

You will be the ‘ambassador’ of our unique collection of hotels. On a spirited and energetic manner you will sell and promote the Italian properties Southern Italy of Rocco Forte Hotels: Hotel de Russie (Rome), Masseria Torre Maizza (Puglia), Villa Igiea and Verdura Resort (Sicily).

Reports to: Area Director of Sales, Southern Italy

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Strategic management of a portfolio of accounts on the Leisure American/Canadian market;
  • Key Account management (travel agencies and tour operators);
  • Organize and actively participate in travel agents familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips and road shows;
  • Co‑operation with the Global Sales Office Rocco Forte Hotels to define specific sales action plans;
  • Analyse and evaluate market trends to identify new business opportunities;
  • Planning co‑marketing activities with American networks, airlines, tourism boards etc.;
  • Build successful relationships that generate sales opportunities and promote the Italian properties Southern Italy of Rocco Forte Hotels in the assigned market.

  • Technically skilled: Demonstrates and understands job requirements and displays the technical skills and knowledge required to perform job well and in line with the departmental SOPs.
Other requirements:
  • Proven work experience (3-5 years) in a similar role.
  • Experience in luxury leisure sales on the American market is a must;
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge;
  • Italian mother tongue and English at excellent level.
