A leading power generation company is seeking a SALES MANAGER to oversee new unit sales in Italy and South Europe. This role involves leading sales projects from development through to contract signature, working closely with engineering teams to create customized solutions, and navigating commercial negotiations within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or business, experience with large complex products, and excellent command of English, with Italian knowledge preferred.

We are looking for a

SALES MANAGER – New Units Sales

As New Units Sales Manager for Italy and South Europe, he/she will be responsible for the development, offering and negotiation up to contract signature and hand over to project management team for the assigned area or customers. He/she will report directly to the Area Sales Director Italy, Mediterranean, South Europe and Africa.

Main Responsibilities
  • From pre-acquisition over acquisition and tendering to negotiation and handover to execution you will lead sales projects on an international basis;
  • Develop customized solutions with the support of our tender and engineering organization;
  • Work in close cooperation with the commercial team to collect all the information needed to prepare competitive offers;
  • Represent the sales projects and Ansaldo Energia externally and drive the sales projects along internal processes with special focus on selling strategy, contract negotiation and risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, or business administration along with several years of experience in offering and selling large complex products or solutions;
  • Proven experience in commercial and technical negotiations of large-scale projects;
  • Knowledge of power plants technology, main products such as gas turbines, steam turbines and generators;
  • Ability to work within international teams, under pressure and in challenging situations;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, preferably Italian as mother language.

Location Genoa or Milan.
