A consultancy company is seeking a Sales Manager for Italy and Greece based in Rome. This role includes managing a sales team, defining sales strategies for software solutions, and expanding the business within the public sector. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of software sales experience, fluency in Italian and English, and be willing to travel. The position offers a permanent contract with sales commissions and flexible working hours.

Saleance is a consultancy company specialising in the search and selection of sales profiles and building of sales networks.

For a leading German multinational company designing software for transportation modeling & simulation, we are looking for a Sales Manager (Italy and Greece).

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and coordinating a sales team of 5 people, as well as hiring new collaborators.
  • Defining and executing sales strategy for software solutions in the mobility and smart city sectors.
  • Expanding business with existing clients and acquiring new clients in the public sector through public tenders and procurement processes, with a focus on the Italian market but also managing Greece, Cyprus and Malta.
  • Monitoring KPIs and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.
Job Requirements
Key Skills
  • At least 7 years of experience in SaaS/subscription-based software sales.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing sales teams.
  • Previous experience in public sector sales and managing public tenders.
  • Native level of Italian and fluency in English.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and, less frequently, abroad.
Complementary Skills
  • Knowledge of mobility, transportation, traffic management or smart city sectors.
  • Agile, result-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Autonomy and flexibility.
Other Info

Location: Rome (presence in the office at least 3 days per week).

Permanent contract with sales commission program on top of the fixed salary, continuous training, flexible working hours and hybrid working, international environment.
