A leading retail company in Florence, Tuscany is seeking a Sales Assistant to maximize store sales and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, fluency in English, and strong people skills. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, maintaining the store environment, and operating cash registers. This full-time position offers a chance to develop relationships with clients and contribute to the success of the store.

To provide consistent and exceptional standard of customer service in the store.

The Role:
  • To maximize sales for the store;
  • To develop enduring relationships with clients;
  • To provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request;
  • To approach customers and offer them advice and support on product to persuade them to buy;
  • To manage promotional allowance, rebate, and pricing discrepancies by researching promotion details and regular and special prices;
  • To understand and be able to advise customers on smart professional dress and appearance;
  • To resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history;
  • To handle returns of merchandise;
  • To maintain a clean and orderly environment in the store at the highest standard;
  • To support the team on the general operations of the “The Bridge” store;
  • To arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity and other criteria;
  • To operate cash registers and close daily revenues;
  • To maintain customer database by inputting customer profile and updates;
  • To go the “extra mile” to meet targets.
The Candidate:
  • at least, 3 years of working experience in the role
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken) is strongly desired;
  • Retail or service industry experience;
  • Great customer service and people skills;
  • Ability to communicate and inspire customers & store colleagues;
