Description

Parma CVICU has been working diligently to expand our services for our growing patient population. We have a 14 bed critical care unit compiled of cardiac surgery, cardiology, vascular, thoracic, and medical intensive care patients. What makes us unique is our 24/7 intensivist coverage, our open heart navigator that follows patients through the entire perioperative experience of cardiac surgery, and two specialized Nurse Practitioners that assist nurses and physicians in meeting core quality measures and optimal patient outcomes. Our team prides themselves on advanced education and obtaining nursing certifications, as well as a work life balance of celebrating both life events and helping each other through personal hardships.

COMMON DIAGNOSESCABG, Valve Repair, Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation, Post Cardiac Catheterization, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac/Respiratory Arrest, VATS recovery, lung nodule interventions and biopsy, AAA Repair, endarterectomy, thrombectomy for PE/DVT

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
