The Regional Sales Manager Acceleronix (RSMA) will be responsible for direct sales of Acceleronix’s IoT connectivity and cloud offerings in South Europe. The RSM will formulate and implement account strategies to maximize sales results in the territory, either directly or through local sales, as a subject matter expert. General responsibilities include leading our sales efforts in direct accounts, prospecting strategic accounts, implementing specific account strategies, and closing opportunities. The individual we are seeking must have relevant IoT services experience and extensive experience in complex and solution selling. The position reports to the Head of Sales EMEA at Acceleronix.

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The RSMA will be responsible for new and existing service sales in the region for the assigned territory. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Providing subject matter expert support as a sales overlay, assisting direct or indirect sales teams throughout the sales process in close cooperation with local sales.
  2. Driving deals directly for a set of key accounts that do not necessarily involve hardware components.
  3. Building relationships within targeted accounts at all levels to understand customer requirements and develop compelling value propositions based on Acceleronix’s service offerings.
  4. Presenting Acceleronix’s services, demonstrating deep familiarity with the company's infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.
  5. Managing customer technical due diligence and risk management processes.
  6. Communicating and presenting effectively to multiple organizational levels to demonstrate Acceleronix’s unique value.
  7. Developing innovative strategies to address customer objections and guiding customers toward closing deals.
  8. Handling negotiations during later sales stages through targeted customer visits, RFP responses, and coordination with third-party solution providers.
  9. Meeting and exceeding sales targets by developing strong relationships with senior executives at targeted accounts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Providing regular reports, including weekly activity reports, monthly sales forecasts, visit reports, and market maps.
  • Leveraging CRM systems to manage customer contacts and track leads and opportunities.
  • Advising management on market conditions, competitors, and gathering market intelligence.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate has experience in the IoT industry, system integration, or wireless network sales. This role emphasizes new business development and requires a highly motivated, self-directed individual who is a determined go-getter.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives and quotas.
  • Business fluency in one local language and English.

Additional requirements include:

  • Experience engaging with C-level relationships within enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • Technical proficiency with a background in long sales cycles.
  • A self-starter with a strong will to succeed.
  • Strong customer commitment and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional work ethic, efficient use of time, and focus on opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion, common sense, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve customer issues, maintaining communication until resolution.
  • Willingness to travel 40%-60% within the territory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
