Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish) including technical dictionary will be a plus

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of the major standards applied to Oil &Gas projects (e.g. EEMUA, API, ISO EN, ASME, AWS, Customer Standards, etc.);
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis experience for NCR, TQ's, CR, DR and Lessons Learnt
- Level 2 or 3 in NDT Methods (e.g. UT/MT/PT/RT) obtained in an internationally recognized certification scheme (e.g. EN 473, ASNT).
- International diploma in welding technologies (e.g. WE, WT, WI) released by internationally recognized certification scheme (IWF, EWF, CSWIP).
- International diploma in coating and painting technologies (e.g. Level 1,2 or 3) released by internationally recognized certification scheme (NACE, FROSIO).
- Certificates related to safety (e.g. BOSIET) for offshore projects
Work Experience
Minimum entry: At least more than 10 year experience as QA/QC Coordinator in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation industries in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures etc.
- Experience of managing professional QC team (e.g. auditors, discipline inspectors).
Responsibilities
The QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for:
- Assessing, approving, allocating and coordinating Quality Control personnel of the organizations in charge of works for the project part assigned.
- Reviewing Quality Control Plans within remit, ensuring that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans and that personnel have access to all required project documentation.
- Checking work procedures, including those relating to special processes.
- Ensuring that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled.
- Ensuring that materials are correctly identified and traceable.
- Ensuring the implementation of the inspection, control and test notification process.
- Checking, insofar as within remit, the test packages provided for the final checks.
- Ensuring assessments and recordings of inspection, control and test results.
- Checking the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out and ensure their orderly collection and management.
- Checking procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections and agrees on the applicable operating procedures with the organization in charge of the works.
- Ensuring the availability of updated inspection, control and test reports, for the purpose of approvals of mechanically completed plant systems.
- Verifying that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out by the contractors, checking conformity with the Site Quality.
- Supporting the systematic collection of lessons learned on the individual site.
- Ensuring the preparation of the QA/QC discipline dossier for final handover to the Customer, verifying the correct implementation and application of the database/spreadsheet for Quality inspection and test report tracking and registration.
- Ensuring the correct application and, whenever necessary, the updating of site Quality Control Plans/procedures.
- Making site personnel aware of and trainee them on quality topics.
- Liaising with Customer for any project related with QC issue.
- Ensuring proper non-conformity detection and recording, as well as relevant corrective actions implementation
