A leading coffee machine manufacturer is seeking a Procurement Projects Coordinator to join their Purchasing team in Italy, ideally in Firenze, Milano, or Treviso. The role includes coordinating RFI and RFQ processes, supporting supplier development, and managing procurement data in SAP. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in purchasing, alongside fluency in Italian and English. Join us in enhancing our procurement capabilities worldwide.

To strengthen our Purchasing team, we are looking for a Procurement Projects Coordinator that will be based in Italy (preferably in Firenze, Milano or Treviso areas).

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFI and RFQ processes on current suppliers and potential new prospects in alignment with strategic plan and material cost objectives
• Support Supplier Development and Quality Team to audit suppliers and work on quality issues resolutions and scorecards performance
• Set-up and update of procurement data in our ERP (SAP)
• Lead projects of supply source localization, resourcing including mold and tools transfers
• On request, support to:
  • Creating and sending orders
  • Tracking and negotiate delivery times
  • Follow-up and control of order confirmations

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commercial or technical engineering
• At least 5 years of proven experience in purchasing and procurement
• Knowledge of an ERP system, SAP an asset
• Experience of at least one category among Electronics, Metals, Injection molding (plastics and / or Metals)
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand various manufacturing processes
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills, diplomatic and pragmatic
• Fluent Italian & English speaker; French and / or German would be a plus
• Rigorous, autonomous, good stress management
• Ability to work in a team with a project management set up
