A leading international consultancy is seeking a Project Manager for a green economy project in the Karlovy Vary region. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of experience, including leadership roles. Strong English proficiency and excellent communication skills are essential. The position involves conducting economic studies and supporting project implementation over a 9-month period starting in October 2025.

Competenze

Overview

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called : Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the “Service Provider”) to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region’s economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the “Project”).

Location

Location: Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.

Duration

Duration: The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.

Key Expert: Project manager (Cat. II)

Qualifications and skills:

• At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Environmental or Energy Policy.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) ( minimum requirement ).
• Fluency in written and spoken Czech would be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and policy drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams).

General professional experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including senior management or advisory role in at least two of the areas presented below:

• Industrial transformation;
• Clean technology deployment;
• Strategic project development.

Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader or Project Manager in development and / or investment finance ( minimum requirement ).
• Experience working with: Public authorities and industry stakeholders; EU-funded projects or international institutions will be considered as an asset.
• Experience working in Czechia will be considered as an asset.
• International experience will be considered as an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), proven by at least one project will be considered as an asset.
