Project Development Manager – Renewable Energy (Italy)

A fast-growing renewable-energy developer is seeking a Project Development Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale solar, agrivoltaic, wind, and BESS projects across Italy. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of projects from early origination through permitting and help accelerate the country’s clean-energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development activities for solar, agrivoltaic, wind, and storage projects
• Coordinate feasibility studies, due diligence, and environmental assessments
• Prepare and manage submissions for planning and environmental approvals
• Work closely with engineering, grid, legal, and external consultants
• Track project milestones, risks, budgets, and timelines
• Provide clear reporting to support internal decision-making

About You

• 2–5 years’ experience in renewable-energy project development
• Strong understanding of Italian permitting processes (urbanistica, VIA / VAS, grid connection, etc.)
• Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills
• Confidence engaging with public authorities, consultants, and local stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for renewables and Italy’s clean-energy transition
