A leading electronics company in Vimercate seeks a Project Management Supervisor to oversee project governance and management for IT initiatives. Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring project objectives align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a degree related to Project Management and 3–7 years of project management experience. Strong English skills are required, and PMP certification is preferred.

Project Management Supervisor
The challenge

What you will do

As Project Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing governance solutions in project management to ensure full alignment with the organizational framework, policies, and procedures in the IT Business Delivery Model, and to enhance overall project execution in the DT area.

In this role, you will supervise local and overseas IT initiatives to guarantee sustainability, monitoring, and reporting of project planning, execution, and closing within scope, schedule, and budget.

As a Project Management Supervisor, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring project deliverables align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholders / PMs management

Engage with stakeholders, including System integrators, PMs, to ensure and maintain regular communication throughout the program lifecycle.

Coordinate activities across multiple project teams to ensure alignment and collaboration among internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project delivery.

Progress Status Monitoring

Regular alignment on project progress to ensure prompt awareness of any criticality or open points, milestones reaching monitoring, alignment to the agreed project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and the project owner.

Communicate the overall project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders and senior management according to the DT Governance Model.

Conduct regular project reviews and ensure regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Documentation and reports are up to date.

Risk Management

Support and address the identification and mitigation of potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Governance and Performance Management

Ensure projects comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Address the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) and track program progress against milestones and deliverables.

What you need to succeed
Must have
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Professional experience:

3–7 years of proven experience managing projects (experience level can vary by organization). 

Language:

English at least at an Intermediate level, both written and spoken.
