Overview

RDM Group is looking for a Project Management Officer to join the HQ in Milan. The PMO is in charge of managing and coordinating all direction and function projects for all processes (sales, operations, HR, procurement, IT, finance, etc.).

He / she will report to the CEO on the company’s strategic projects and will coordinate with others, first line managers, on other specific tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Methodically and operationally support all assigned projects.
  • Align project management formats, define procedures, methods of use and train users.
  • Provide tools and suggest systems to support project development.
  • Update the Direction project control panel while monitoring compliance with schedules and phases.
  • Optimize multidisciplinary project management.
  • Manage the base of knowledge collected internally by the projects to use as a knowledge management system.
  • Build and maintain electronic files holding information produced by all projects and concerning management during all life cycle phases, including estimations, changes, presentations, documents, results, and lessons learned.
  • Verify the management of project budget, criteria, timing, cost estimation, and the following schedule.
  • Monitor accountability assignment in relation to carrying out each task.
  • Carry out analysis and assessment of project risks.
  • Contribute to defining business development plans in function of project progress.
Requirements
  • Degree in Economic, Management Engineering or equivalent business work experience.
  • At least 4 years in a similar position in a consultancy firm or production businesses in the role of analytical accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is a must.
  • Another Group language is preferred (Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch).
  • High standards of business ethics and professional conduct.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
