Join Valmet as a Product Sales Manager for our Tissue Converting Fold segment based in Lucca and play a key role in shaping the future of folded tissue solutions worldwide.

In this position you will drive global sales growth for Valmets cutting-edge folded tissue converting technologies. Your mission will include building strong client partnerships, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and showcasing our solutions through compelling technical presentations and live machinery demonstrations. You will manage contract negotiations, coordinate projects with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation, and proactively identify new business opportunities through market research and lead generation. This is a highly collaborative international role that requires frequent travel and close engagement with key stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions for their folded tissue converting projects.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth across global markets.

  • Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and generate high-quality leads.

  • Technical Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver impactful presentations and live machinery demonstrations to highlight the technical advantages of Valmets folding solutions.

  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Participate in contract negotiations ensuring compliance with company policies and alignment with customer expectations.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering project management and customer service teams to guarantee timely delivery, installation, and ongoing support.

Expectations for You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the folded tissue converting industry.

  • Knowledge of machine performance metrics and process optimization is a strong plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

  • A team player with good cooperation skills and experience working in matrix organizations.

  • Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and trade shows.

  • Fluency in English and Italian required; additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) are a valuable asset.
