Your Mission

We are looking to hire a Procurement Manager that will lead the definition and execution of procurement strategies and processes at both national and international levels, ensuring efficient, sustainable sourcing aligned with Venchi’s brand and quality standards. This role plays a key part in procurement governance, supplier network management, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the global procurement strategy in line with company goals and COO guidelines.
• Manage the full procurement cycle for: primary and secondary packaging, gifting packs, retail materials, raw materials (in collaboration with R&D)
• Conduct regular assessments of the supplier network, reviewing and optimizing it to meet evolving brand and business needs.
• Lead and develop the procurement team based in Castelletto Stura (CN), fostering technical and managerial growth.
• Plan and execute purchasing strategies that ensure service level targets while minimizing working capital.
• Drive the evolution of procurement processes and systems through digitalization and lean culture.
• Collaborate closely with Operations leaders in Asia and the USA to harmonize global sourcing and procurement activities.
• Monitor and manage the supplier panel, ensuring quality, continuity, sustainability, and cost optimization.
• Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and supply agreements, mitigating risks and securing competitive advantages.
• Develop processes and tools to enhance governance and traceability of procurement activities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing/procurement/provisioning roles within international companies.
• Solid background in managing diverse suppliers and materials, preferably in premium or high-end FMCG contexts.
• Experience in international contracting and managing multicultural teams.
• Strong negotiation, project management, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience in food raw material procurement is a plus, but not mandatory.
