Job Description

Responsible for developing the conceptual process design, sizing, and costing of Wet Anaerobic Digestion Plants during the proposal phase of EPC projects:

• Prepare heat & mass balances, PFD, as well as performance and functional guarantees in close collaboration with Chief Engineers
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, control, layout, steel structure, civil, construction, procurement, logistics, etc.
• Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities, participate in technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and partners
• Calculate the budget for engineering and procurement scope, support requests for quotations for critical equipment, and analyze supplier offers
• Compile offer documentation, deviations, bill of quantities, electrical consumption list, etc.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (Bachelor/Master)
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in energy, environmental technology, renewable energies, or related industry
• Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge of process engineering and technical cost drivers
• Autonomous, proactive, curious, flexible, and team-oriented personality
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
