As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You’ll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state‑of‑the‑art research and development projects.
Requires solid knowledge and experience in chemistry, with a focus on formulation and characterization of advanced optical materials (e.g., coatings, polymers, electrochromic layers). Continues to develop expertise in photonic and optoelectronic material systems. Builds understanding of laboratory processes and company objectives. Works on moderately complex formulation and testing tasks, analyzing solutions using established chemical and analytical methods. Operates under moderate guidance and direction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering or related field.
Demonstrates growing expertise in chemistry with an emphasis on optical material formulation and characterization.
Understands how material development supports key business drivers in optics and photonics.
Provides informal guidance to junior team members; no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Applies chemical judgment and technical experience to solve moderately complex formulation and testing challenges.
Impacts quality and reliability of optical materials and contributes to team objectives.
Communicates technical concepts clearly in collaborative settings.
