About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Preclinical Imaging Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, engineering, or another scientific discipline, with a clear interest in the technological aspects of imaging. This role focuses on preclinical imaging in small rodents, with particular emphasis on MRI and X-ray/CT modalities. Experience or familiarity with photon-counting CT technology is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct in vitro and preclinical imaging studies using MRI and X-ray technologies.
  • Collaborate with researchers and developers to optimize imaging protocols and data acquisition.
  • Work closely with a team of AI developers to support integration of imaging data into machine learning workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative imaging approaches for preclinical research.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards for animal research.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Experience with MRI and/or X-ray imaging systems.
  • Strong interest in imaging technologies and their applications in biomedical research.
  • Willingness to work with small animal models in a preclinical research setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in a professional setting.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of photon-counting CT technology.
  • Certification for conducting preclinical research on animal models.
