The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics/Administration and over 5 years of relevant experience. We are currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic Finance team based in Milan.

Responsibilities

• Monthly accounts bookkeeping following standard operating procedures and accounting practices and principles;
• General ledger processes related to month-end close, entering journal entries, accounts reconciliations, fixed asset accounting and intercompany accounting;
• Recording of expenses, disbursements and accruals for payroll;
• General accounting entries for accruals, prepayments, inventory and financial risks;
• Handling monthly, quarterly and annual compliance requirements (e.g., VAT statements, Withholding tax, accounts closure and reopening);
• Preparation of all necessary paperwork and analysis for tax payments and returns;
• Liaise with fiscal consultants;
• Daily and monthly accounting support (ad hoc requests).

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics/Administration;
• At least 5 years of experience in the role;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in fast pace and International Groups;
• Precision, reliability, proactivity;
• Ability to organize the job respecting the deadlines;
• Good knowledge of the MS Office package and SAP FMS;
• Fluent in English.
