This role in summary

Located in Cassinetta (VA) and reporting to the Financial Site Manager, the Plant Controlling Specialist acts as the financial business partner of plant management, supporting strategic decision‑making through financial planning, performance monitoring, and cost analysis.

The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Quality) and interfaces with the central finance to ensure alignment with Company standards and business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Providing accurate reporting on production costs and variances, preparing and analysing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast ensuring compliance with BU deadlines.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting annual processes at the plant level in coordination with central finance.
  • Monitor plant costs, margins, and KPIs to support operational efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between plants and central finance for reporting, audits, and planning cycles.
Minimum requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in Controlling department or accounting firm, preferably in manufacturing companies.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written / spoken).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • SAP ERP good knowledge.
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously, with a strong team working mindset.
  • Power BI knowledge would be considered a plus.
