A leading engineering firm in Milan is looking for a skilled Piping & Layout Engineer. The role involves ensuring the integrity of piping systems for offshore oil and gas projects. Candidates must have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is required. This position is full-time and offers an on-site working environment.

Overview

Job Title: Piping & Layout Engineer

On-site / Remote / Hybrid: On Site

Location: Milan, Italy

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Ensure piping systems' overall construction integrity and compliance with international standards, COMPANY specifications, and construction best practices.
• Ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of piping systems activities execution.
• Maintain quality and technical integrity of piping systems.
• Review piping systems design documents.
• Provide technical evaluation of piping systems.
• Follow up on piping systems execution technically.
• Supervise construction of power stations, compressor island stations, pumps, turbines, and other dynamic piping.
• Review contractors' piping layouts and design.
• Support piping commissioning and production start-up.
• Attend and approve integrity tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in the relevant discipline after earning the BSc degree.
• Experience in offshore Oil and Gas projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English, including proven ability to write reports.
