A leading multinational company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll execution and compliance for the Italian market. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, a university degree, and fluency in English and Italian. Responsibilities include maintaining salary structures, supporting employees with benefits, and collaborating with local HR departments. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Office-based work in Milan is required, with occasional home office and travel.

  • Perform payroll execution and compliance control for the Italian market.

Your Tasks
  • Data and compliance control and in-house payroll execution on Italian market
  • Maintaining and updating the salary structure and bonus systems and performing payroll calculations
  • Collecting data on work time and absences and incorporating them into the payroll process
  • Managing benefits such as health insurance, pension plans and other employee benefits
  • Responsibility for registration, amendment and termination processes in cooperation with local HR departments
  • Supporting employees with questions regarding benefits and compensation
  • Collaborate with teams, such as recruitment, to ensure up-to-date and complete employee data and keep it updated in accordance with changes
  • Create payroll and benefits reports for management and other institutions
  • Participate in the implementation of additional HR projects and task
Your Profile
  • Minimum of 4years of relevantwork experience - execution of payroll services for Italy
  • University degree (preferably in HR, Economics or Administration)
  • Fluency in English & Italian - a prerequisite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & experience with SAP
  • Confidence to work in an international environment
  • High attention to detail and precision in operations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Good to have: knowledge of payroll rules, tax regulations and benefit programs
  • Availability for office-based work in Milan (with home office up to 8 days of home office per month); readiness for occasional business-travelling in Europe for training/team-related purpose
