A leading hospitality company in Venice is seeking an HR Administrator to oversee payroll processing and HR records management. The role requires at least 2-3 years of HR administration experience and knowledge of Italian labor laws. Responsibilities include payroll coordination, employee benefits administration, and onboarding support. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills and be fluent in both Italian and English. Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule coordinating closely with external providers and internal finance.
Collect, verify and input all payroll‑related data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses and deductions.
Administer employee benefits programs ensuring accurate enrollment and changes.
Prepare and reconcile payroll reports ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, benefits and compensation.
Manage and maintain all HR records and personnel files (digital and physical) with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.
Administer the full employee lifecycle documentation from offer letters and onboarding paperwork to contract amendments and offboarding records.
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire packets, coordinating first‑day logistics and ensuring all initial paperwork is complete.
Assist in drafting HR‑related communication policies and procedural documents.
Process and track HR‑related invoices and expenses for the department.
Provide administrative support for performance management cycles, learning & development initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Assist with compliance checks ensuring all administrative practices adhere to Italian labor laws and internal guidelines.
Assist in maintaining accurate crew data within HR and scheduling systems.
Support the coordination of crew schedules by accurately recording changes, absences and leaves.
Compile data for various HR reports including headcount, attendance and payroll summaries.
