Amazon is driving business growth through strong supply chain capabilities and operations management in bonded logistics warehouses. With our expanding cross-border business and team growth, we are seeking an Operations Excellence Specialist to help manage global cross-border operation nodes originating in China and other regions, a key initiative in our supply chain network.

This role is within the Global Logistics organization. We are looking for talent with experience and knowledge in the cross-border logistics industry, proven ability to manage and drive warehouse service partners to achieve or exceed goals, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and operational excellence expertise. The ideal candidate should have a can‑do attitude and the ability to solve problems independently while dealing with ambiguity, obstacles, and time constraints. Safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity/efficiency will be key focus areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 3PL Performance: Drive warehouse service provider (3PL) performance through pre-defined mechanisms to track and investigate exceptions, implement corrective actions, and standardize processes to ensure sustainable, data-driven results.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and prepare data and reports, including KPIs and other in-process indicators, providing full visibility to the team and stakeholders.
  • Goal Setting & Tracking: Design and establish realistic yet stretching goals and KPI metrics; continuously track performance and drive efficient corrective actions.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement as a process expert, leveraging AI integration to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness with mechanism build up.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate programs and initiatives proactively with cross-functional teams to support customer experience improvements and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, solve problems efficiently, and evaluate alternatives while assessing advantages and associated risks
  • Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools, including advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with vendor (3PL) management.
  • Experience with Freight Forwarding and Cross-Border (Export) business is a plus.
  • Familiar with SQL and able to query required data through SQL command.
