A leading technology firm in Lomazzo, Italy, is seeking a Scientist to support the development of core-shell particles for polymer composites. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in nanotechnology, with practical skills in various synthetic routes. Responsibilities include enhancing processes, preparing structures for large-scale integration, and providing technical support for R&D projects. A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and fluent English are required.

• PhD or 3 years experience in polymer composites and core-shell structures.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience in nanotechnology.

Overview

CoeLux Srl, ComoNExT Technology Park (Lomazzo, Italy)

Role : To support the development of core-shell particles for polymer composites.

Responsibilities

• To ensure continuous process enhancement for nano, submicro and micro particles;
• To sustain the development of innovative synthetic routes for the preparation of core-shell structures;
• To prepare core-shell structures suitable for integration in polymer composites on large scale;
• To identify effective characterization techniques for particles / structures assessment;
• To guarantee analysis data interpretation and editing of activity reports;
• To provide technical support to R&D projects by ensuring timeframe constraints, team collaborative approach, periodic updates for the performed activity, presentation of main results.
• To contribute at the design of nanocomposite materials reproducing the appearance of the sky and the sun.
