A regional banking institution in Campania seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant II to manage customer inquiries and assist in the loan application process. The successful candidate will ensure smooth processing of mortgage files and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include preparing files, ordering documents, and maintaining communication with clients. Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant experience in a related field.
The Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant II answers phone calls and prepares files for processing and closing. This position orders appraisals, title works, and credit supplements. The MLO Assistant prepares marketing material, thank you notes, and gifts for closing and helps facilitate the application process for prequels, pull credit, gather approval conditions, and resubmit to processing and closing.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). The NMLS web site provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
