As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer Centrifugal Compressor, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation/ maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard.

Safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressor. The work includes but is not limited to borescope inspections, blade work, combustion/hot section replacements, engine swaps, and other types of maintenance tasks. You will enjoy opportunities to develop your product knowledge and technical skills in a dynamic, innovative environment.

As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer Centrifugal Compressor, you will be the first point of contact for our global customers on-site. You will be responsible for leading activities, people and HSE compliance to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Overseeing overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Centrifugal/Reciprocating Compressor products at customer sites.
  • Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
  • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Technical Diploma.
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Display a good customer service-orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
  • Have emerging ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
  • Be a motivated self-starter and able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
  • Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
  • Have an EU passport/European Work permit and excellent verbal and written English and Italian language.
  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 80%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.

The duration of the work at site and the hours of work at the site will be in line with customer requirements.
