Gi Group Spa - Job Opportunity for Electrical Instrumentation Technician at Iren Energia

Gi Group Spa, a leading Italian employment agency with over 200 branches nationwide and more than 1800 HR professionals, is seeking candidates for Iren Energia. Iren Energia, part of the Iren Group, is active in electricity production, thermal energy generation and distribution for district heating, and technological services. The position is based at the Turbigo thermal power plant.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine, preventive, and corrective electrical and instrumentation maintenance on static and rotating electrical machinery, high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment, electrical and process instrumentation, control and protection systems, and automation devices.
2. Conduct operational tests and periodic inspections of electrical equipment and thermal plants in BT/MT in accordance with maintenance plans to enhance asset performance.
3. Calibrate flow meters, pressure, temperature sensors, pH, conductivity, and perform electrical insulation tests.
4. Implement modifications to plants and equipment, and construct new main and auxiliary systems for the plant.
5. Read electrical and logical diagrams, P&ID schematics.

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Previous industrial experience as an instrumentation technician and/or electrical-instrumentation maintenance.
• Knowledge of applied electrical engineering and industrial systems, primary process measurement tools, and management via DCS.
• Ability to perform instrument calibration, use calibrators, PLCs, network systems, and equipment.
• Familiarity with technical standards and safety procedures for electrical work, including D.Lgs. 81/08 for work permits.
• Ability to independently perform simple HW and SW interventions to resolve issues.
• Basic knowledge of Office suite applications.
• Willingness to work in rotating on-call shifts.

Contract Details:

Permanent contract, under the Electric Sector National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL).
