Overview

Kito Chain Italia seeks a Production Manager based in Tarvisio (Ud) – Italy. The role entails responsibility for the factory producing and delivering the required volume, cost-effectively and with high productivity as well as specified quality and delivery time and the responsibility for reaching set goals through development of production processes, employees, and organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure that safety rules and regulations are followed. Act with a “Safety is priority” mentality.
  • Lead and distribute the work in the production organization.
  • Ensure that the factory produces and delivers the required volume on time and meets quality requirements.
  • Budget responsibility.
  • Work environment responsibility for production.
  • Carry out risk analyses and create action plans as well as run and follow up the action plan.
  • Initiate, be responsible for, and drive process changes, ensuring that changes are validated in accordance with given routines.
  • Personnel responsibility.
  • Actively participate in daily management.
  • Prepare instructions to ensure quality, process stability, and a safe working environment.
  • Run Lean work in the factory and be responsible for improvement work carried out via improvement groups.
  • Responsible for personnel dimensioning based on volume decided in SIOP and the budget processes, in consultation with HR and Plant Director.
  • Lead and develop employees to reach common goals such as lead time, machine utilization, productivity, low cost of quality defects, etc.
  • Responsibility for the development of the production process, including layout.
  • Ensure reporting back and that inventory count is carried out by the organization.
  • Cooperate with external local parties, e.g., authorities and schools.
Experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar production environment.
  • Experience with safety regulations according to Italian Law.
  • Knowledge of planning and ERP principles.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with data and KPIs and converting them to action plans.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • PowerBI or Tableau experience is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • University or bachelor’s degree, specialization in supply chain is a plus.
  • Lean Green Belt is a plus.
Languages
  • Italian mother tongue.
  • Fluent in English.
