Overview

Your Mission Position Summary : The M&A Integration Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the integration of acquired companies into our organization, with a specific focus on synergy planning, execution, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional leaders, including the C-suite, Business Unit leadership, and various departmental heads to ensure a smooth and strategic integration that maximizes synergy capture, operational efficiency, and cultural cohesion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, expertise in managing integration processes, and a strategic mindset for aligning acquisitions with corporate goals in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Synergy Planning & Execution: Sizing Synergies Pre-Deal — Collaborate with the Head of M&A to assess and quantify synergies, ensuring alignment with the actual P&L. Savings Tracking Pre-Deal — Develop a methodology for tracking savings for each synergy type and monitor each initiative to ensure clear accountability and measurable results.
  • Tracking and Comparison: Consistently track realized synergies and compare outcomes against the plan, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Liaise with Business Unit Leadership and maintain close communication with Business Unit leaders to ensure smooth decision-making and escalate key decisions or risks as needed.
  • Integration Management: Develop an Integration Roadmap with Pre-Deal collaboration from the C-suite and department heads, assign clear timelines, responsibilities, and ownership. Execution includes implementing change management initiatives to foster cultural integration and alignment across the organization. Oversee daily integration activities, especially during the initial 6-12 months, ensuring progress toward strategic objectives. Work closely with the target company’s leadership and our C-suite to drive consistency and focus in each integration initiative. Lead integration governance efforts, facilitating regular updates and communication with senior leadership. Guide efforts to integrate, simplify, and enhance xFarm's operating model to achieve significant operational efficiencies.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&A integration, corporate development, or consulting, including at least 3 years at a senior consultant or manager level. Proven track record in designing and executing transformation and M&A initiatives, particularly those requiring organizational and cultural adjustments. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or streams with strong PMO capabilities. Background in tech or corporate settings is a plus, along with experience in delivering commercial synergies. Advanced project management skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and coordinate across departments. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial metrics and business processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluent in English. Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, or French language skills are an advantage.
