A fast-growing tech company in Italy is seeking a Legal Counsel to navigate the challenges of international legal compliance and provide support across different teams. This hybrid role emphasizes ownership, flexibility, and impactful challenges in an innovative environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Law, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of GDPR. Competitive salary and generous benefits included.

Competenze

  • At least 3 years of experience in the legal department of an IT or tech company.
  • Experience in corporate law, intellectual property, AI law, or dispute resolution is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and IT industry.

What you will work on

Advise on a diverse range of legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, helping us make smart, compliant decisions as we scale

Work closely with different teams to ensure that our products and companies are compliant with applicable laws

Ensure our data practices meet GDPR and other global privacy standards

Take an active role in shaping internal policies and best practices as we grow

Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with vendors, partners, and customers

Assess new vendors and ensure compliance with our internal standards

Oversee intellectual property matters and helping protect it

Prepare and maintain key legal documents — from contracts to corporate governance materials

Deliver internal legal trainings to other teams

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification / certification

At least 3 years of experience working in the legal department of an IT or tech company, or comparable experience in a law firm

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (especially GDPR)

Experience in corporate law, intellectual property, AI law, or dispute resolution is considered an advantage

Familiarity with SaaS business models and the IT industry

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership

Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and countries

Start date - February 2, 2026
