An innovative real estate company in Milan is seeking a Legal Counsel to manage various legal topics, provide practical legal advice, and work closely with the General Counsel. The ideal candidate is an EU qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of risk management and prioritisation in a dynamic environment. A tech-savvy individual with very good English skills is required. The role offers flexibility to work in a hybrid culture.

We are on a steep growth curve, and we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team in Italy.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing a range of legal topics (IP, IT, GDPR, Commercial, Corporate - depending on business needs)
• Providing legal advice in a simple, practicable, and clear manner
• Close cooperation with the General Counsel
• Performing legal housekeeping and coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts from start to finish in close collaboration with business stakeholders

Your Qualifications

• You are an EU qualified lawyer with some post-qualification experience (preferably Spain, Italy, Portugal or France)
• You have a strong understanding and appreciation of risk management and prioritisation in a fast-moving business environment. Your approach is commercial & pragmatic
• You consider yourself tech-savvy
• Very good knowledge of English (office language)
• You have a background in commercial or corporate but may have also worked on other highly relevant areas to Habyt’s business. In-house or secondment experience is desirable, but not necessary
