Overview

As a Lead Commercial Proposal Manager within the Innio Jenbacher Gas Engines Regional Commercial Operations Team your role is to support our regional sales and commercial team in technical and commercial aspects.

In this role you will be responsible for four focus areas

Sales / Commercial support and Engineering
  • Support of regional sales and commercial teams on quotes with a strong link to Engineering
  • Independent creation of quotes for complex projects / BOP
  • Technically support introduction of new products
  • Support Sales and commercial teams outside the assigned region on a case to case basis.
  • Preparation of all contract-relevant documents (calculations, specifications, …)
  • Support sourcing with generating & updating techn. Specification
  • Being strongly connected with the engineering teams e. g. in HQ’S
  • Technical Feedback and knowledge transfer during ITO / OTR phase to Engineering
  • Strong Technical support of regional sales and commercial teams in negotiations with customers
  • Preparation and maintenance of sales documents (e.g. country-specific price lists, specifications, …)
  • Initiate product adaptions according to country-specific requirements
  • Introducing more cost effective BOP solution to implement competitiveness
  • Strong interaction with local OTR and Servcies team for complex projects for smooth transition to the execution phase.
Use and maintenance of sales / engineering tools
  • Software for creation of technical specifications
  • ERP Software for creation of project specific offers / calculations / configurations / handover to production, etc.
  • Help further develop BOP configurator
  • Various applications for technical calculations (e.g. calculation of gas analysis, engine efficiency, etc.)
  • Pro-actively drive setting new standards in BOP-Engineering tools environment (e. g. EBSILON)
  • Drive further developing BOP std. component matrix
Risk Management
  • Elaboration of technical and commercial special release documents for project specific changes aside from our standard product program
  • Initiate / Participate / lead „risk reviews“
  • Check of technical conformity of our products
Your Profile
  • Engineering degree (Electrical or mechanical) and / or Commercial degree with technical experience
  • Several years of Engineering experience and / or Commercial experience in the relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry
  • Experience in elaborating complex technical and / or commercial tasks - interdisciplinary thinking / acting
  • Strong team player
  • Used to work in process oriented environment
  • Good in being an interfacing between commercial and engineering
  • Willingness to travel in the assigned territory and to the HQ in Austria regularly
  • Fluent in Italian and English language
