Job Title : Key Account Manager (Stellantis)
Company Overview
We are a fast-growing global Tier 1 automotive supplier, part of the Minth Group. As our business expands, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager to join our sales team, focusing on serving our key global customer, Stellantis.
Position Summary
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the complete management and maintenance of assigned accounts, identifying future business opportunities, and building strong customer relationships. You will identify, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions for commercial and technical issues, working closely with Program Management and Engineering teams to meet cost and timing targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate RFQs, oversee CFT quote activity to ensure complete and timely submissions, and secure proper plant authorization to proceed on customer projects for Minth Group and Minth Overseas RFQs.
- Submit and maintain all customer-specific commercial documents related to Minth Group and Minth Overseas programs for Stellantis.
- Prepare submissions for annual Customer FX and Materials Pricing Programs.
- Maintain service parts pricing.
- Proactively identify potential issues and work effectively with the Minth Global team to prevent customer problems; participate in issue resolution when required.
- Build professional relationships and establish ongoing communication with customers, superiors, peers, subordinates, and suppliers to facilitate achievement of performance standards.
- Ensure target dates (for ECR responses, quotes, etc.) are met and pertinent information is communicated in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities, recommend, and implement projects for improved productivity and cost reduction; collaborate with our plants to implement Tech Cost Savings.
- Understand and participate in meetings with Program Managers for the development and implementation of APQP plans and feasibility discussions.
- Work with Manufacturing Support personnel on process issues for new and existing products to build and maintain a knowledge base.
- Maintain and update company pricing records, logs, forecasts, and other commercial documents as needed.
- Handle all financial open items (piece price, tooling, etc.) for assigned accounts, ensuring all purchase orders are issued, received, and invoiced, including all necessary follow-up.
- Research and understand market pricing to maintain competitive analysis and benchmarking data on competitors for current business and new quotes.
- Provide customer sales and production information to assist in the formulation of budgets, forecasts, and annual customer savings plans.
- Participate in the development of presentations and the negotiation of contracts.
- Assist the Supplier Quality or Quality Department with any commercial issues related to Assembly Plants or Warranty.
- Assist the Quality Department in maintaining customer ratings.
- Research and recommend job-related training, seminars, or technical development activities to enhance job performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Work experience in a sales role within an Automotive OEM environment; experience with Stellantis is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Automotive OEM processes; familiarity with Stellantis is highly preferred.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in Italian and English. Proficiency in Chinese and / or French is a strong plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to analyze data and trends, and prepare written correspondence and presentations for executive-level meetings.
