A clean mobility technology company based in Italy is seeking an Account Development Executive to lead business development in public charging and retail segments. The role involves building relationships and shaping strategies to grow the EV charging infrastructure market. Ideal candidates should have substantial B2B sales experience, excellent communication skills in both Italian and English, and an understanding of the Italian EV landscape. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus, and company car, fully remote.

Account Development Executive

Remote position, fully work from home, in Italy

Up to €100 000 + bonus + company car

We are now looking for a commercially focused Account Development Executive to lead growth within the public charging and retail segments in Italy. This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and shaping a cleaner, smarter mobility future.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts across public infrastructure, retail chains, real estate, and hospitality sectors.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers to position EV charging as a strategic enabler.
  • Shape go-to-market strategy based on local insights, regulatory changes, and segment-specific challenges.
  • Drive positioning in RFPs / tenders and negotiate high-value opportunities that align with client goals.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, forums, and associations to build visibility and influence.
  • Work cross-functionally with technical, delivery, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in high-tech B2B sales (e.g. energy, mobility, infrastructure, or industrial sectors).
  • A hunter mentality with a proven track record of acquiring new business and closing large, strategic deals.
  • Solid understanding of Italy’s public EV charging landscape, from municipalities to private site owners.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills at senior level.
  • Strategic thinking, commercial sharpness, and the ability to translate complex solutions into client value.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in international or matrixed environments.
